These high end rakes are designed and built to handle large volumes of hay at fast speeds and to increase drying time and productivity.

LOW MAINTENANCE
The rugged frame of the VR Series Wheel Rake is made from heavy duty 5" x 5" structural tubing compared to the standard 4" x 4" tubing. This makes the VR series a stronger and more resilient wheel rake. The standard heavy duty wrap around castor wheels provide the VR Series Wheel Rake with added stability to its wings and providesa greater amount of maneuverability on tight turns.
FAST TOOTH REPLACEMENT
Individually bolted / single tooth replacement.
EASY WIDTH ADJUSTMENT
Easy/fast turnbuckle style adjustment on VR810-VR1214 (Hydraulic-VR1620).
OVERSIZED WHEELS - WIND GUARD
When compared to the smaller 55 inch wheel used in most hay rakes, the larger 62 inch wheel on the VR series allows easier rolling and better material flow in heavy or wet conditions. Wind Guard, standard on all models of the VR Series Wheel Rakes, is proven and effective at increasing material flow during raking and gives the VR series rake wheel more strength and durability.
PATENT PENDING TENSION SPRING
A low maintenance tension spring design gives the rake wheels longer service and provides easy tension adjustment. The unique assembly helps provide for desired tensioning of the wheels during raking operations while also providing for the easy shifting of the rake between raking and transport positions.
HYDRAULIC WHEEL HEIGHT
Hydraulic wheel height adjustment (double acting) lifts wheels from raking to transport position. The rake wheels are independently mounted using the unique tension spring design to follow the contours of the ground.
NEW OPTIONAL KICKER WHEELS
New rear kicker wheels option on the 16, 18 and 20 wheel rakes allows more efficient drying by turning over the center windrow when pulling together 3 swaths and moving center material into a more compact windrow.
TAPERED BEARINGS
The VR series wheel rakes are all constructed using heavy duty tapered bearings. These long lasting resilient bearings can handle both radial and thrust loads and are sealed within a dust cap to prevent any foreign material from entering.
